Title: Golang Engineer Consultant

Contract: 8-12 Weeks

Remote - anywhere in the world (preference for North America).

IFG is on the search for a strong Developer/Software Engineer with expertise in Golang, and strong ability to build Kubernetes Operators and orchestrators for a consulting project supporting a large Canadian bank.

The customer is onboarding a multi-site, Kubernetes (OpenShift) Cluster to Azure Arc, and looking to migrate a large number of On-Prem SQL Servers onto Azure Arc SQL MI.

For Production readiness and scalability, the customer is looking to build Kubernetes Operators for various database-specific automation such as DNS integration, SSL Certificate injection, Secret Lifecycle management with Hashicorp Vault etc - as well as building CI/CD pipelines.

• We are looking for a strong developer/software engineer with:
• Strong programming expertise in Golang
• Strong experience building Kubernetes Operators and orchestrators; e.g. using Kubebuilder, Operator SDK, Client-Go, CRDs etc.
• Experience with ArgoCD is good to have – optional
• Strong english communication skills, verbally and written
