The Role

You are a talented and motivated Flutter developer who thrives on developing innovative and easy to use applications. You are independent, proactive, and not afraid to try new technologies or to seek out new solutions. You also value teamwork and enjoy teaching others and learning from your co-workers. You have worked in close collaboration with product, creative, and business stakeholders, and seen projects through from start to finish, managing deadlines and customer expectations.

At Virti, we are building the best learning tools in the world, using the latest VR/AR/AI technologies. You will be joining our existing core platform team to work on migrating our existing app over to Flutter and keep improving it with new features.

Job Responsibilities

• Migrate our existing mobile application over to Flutter.


• Develop new features based on customer feedback.


• Make technology decisions and contribute to product strategy.


• Integrate with the rest of the wider tech team. It will be required of you to work with team members to coordinate the development of a feature together.


• Testing and bug fixing.


• Work in an agile environment.


• Keep up to date with the latest developments of Flutter and other app development frameworks.


• You will be modifying, testing, and implementing UI and widgets with complex state and design requirements on a day-to-day basis.

Requirements/Experience

• Experience in developing and shipping commercial Flutter projects.


• Excellent Dart programming skills.


• Strong layout skills using widgets.


• Experience with hosting native iOS and Android views inside Flutter.


• Knowledge of Git.


• Familiarity with GraphQL (desirable).


• Familiarity with offline data persistence (SQLite, Core Data)


• Experience working with Error reporting and Automated testing tools


• Experience with unit, widget and integration testing (desirable).


• Familiarity with native iOS and Android development and deployment to the app stores (desirable).


• Familiarity with Unity (desirable).
